This picture was taken on Tuesday evening in Pakse in southern Laos. I walked along a road which parallels the Xedon river, about 10 kms. from its confluence with the Mekong river. Although there are houses built all along the riverside, I went into the yard of a Buddhist temple where I took a bunch of pictures of the fading light on the buildings. I ran back and forth to get this exact placement of the sun before it disappeared!
This picture is my contribution to Skywatch Friday, which is being hosted on Welcome to Wiggers World. Please come back, leave your link and comment on the skies from many locations around the world.

Loved this photo, specially because one sees the sun through a whole lot of bamboo.
Easter Greetings.
Se mettre en travers du soleil ne l'empĂȘche pas de se coucher.
To put oneself infront of the sun doesn't prevent the sun to fall down.
I saw this African proverb in an exposition in Troyes last week.
Nice photography.
Have a nice holiday weekend.
