A couple of photos in blue. Recently, the theme of the day in Vientiane has been gray - the skies are gray, though it's not raining daily as it should during this time of the year.
I took the above picture last year, just after the rainy season, when the weather turns cold and the air is clear.
I discovered the setting for one color on my camera and went crazy with it for a while. This was on a midnight stop at the bus station in Tha Khaek, the capital city of Khammouane province - at the eerie hour of 1 am.
This is my contribution to Thursday Challenge on the theme of blue.

I like the idea of a color theme. Really interesting contrast in second pic. You really covered ABC Wednesday! I loved it.
Neat. You did the second one just with your camera and not with Photoshop? My one color camera experiments were not nearly as successful as that one.
Thanks for introducing me to another part of the world. Hard to imagine that top one is a "colder" scene. Seems so lush.
@leora: cooler in this part of the world means 50 degrees F in the morning and 80's in the afternoon. Nice summer weather anywhere else.
My Canon has this cool feature where you can focus on a color, set it in the menu and then it does the rest. I discovered it accidentally because my finger had slipped on the menu - then I had to read through the instruction manual to figure out how to undo it!
Your color experiment one seems very appropriate for a 1 am photo. :-)
