Bodhi tree on 4 April

Bodhi tree on 4 April, originally uploaded by c_p_lew.

As a follow-up on the picture I posted last week of the naked Bodhi tree, here it is on Thursday, just blooming away! Another picture from Tuesday with the sky.

The monks built a cement platform around the base of the tree, and painted it blue and white last week. Now, they are scraping off the paint. Don't ask me why.

This picture is my contribution to Skywatch Friday, hosted on Welcome to Wiggers World

Hi Changpheng, here I am for my weekly visit...
Ice cream and cheese, I share! Laos, a small country with 236.800 square km (2.5 times Portugal)? Never thought I was living in a microscopic country... ;))
Dok Khun is a great picture and the post on April 1st a lovely one to read! Also loved to read your letters, in particular the one addressed to the rain! The wild cat is a great post; sky watch seems to have hundreds of followers. Probably people like to watch...
Finaly, you're curious to see who comes from where; I always wondered why people come, see and leave without trace... ;)
Have a great weekend and see you next week, unless you wish to drop by Blogtrotter, where I’m still strolling around Bilbao, and leave a comment there... ;)

what a lovely tree. I would love to sit in the house on the 2nd floor and watch the birds.
